Bat Squad FAQ

Q: I may not be able to watch the live webcasts at their launch time. Can I watch them later?

Yes! After the webcasts have been aired live for the first time (on batweek.org) the recorded videos will be available for you to watch at any time at batweek.org or on Bat Conservation International’s website batcon.org.

Q: Where do I find the educational activities that come with each of the webcasts?

The activities will be placed on the batweek.org website along with the webcasts. These are currently in development. As soon as they are ready we will share them on the website and via our email contact list – so sign up for updates!

Q: How do I participate in the live Q&A session with the BatSquad kids after the webcasts?

After the Bat Squad videos launch at 1pm each day (Tuesday Oct 24 - Friday Oct 28) we will have several Bat Squad kids ready to answer your questions on Twitter! You can join the conversation starting at 1.15pm ET by using the hashtags #BatSquad and #BatWeek. The Bat Squad members will be using the @Bat_Week twitter account to answer your questions!

Q: Do I need to register to use the webcasts?

You don't need to register but we would strongly encourage you to sign up via our Bat Week updates to let us know that you are interested in participating. We will send you updates about the webcasts leading up to, and after Bat Week!

Q: Is there anything else I need to do to be able to use this in my classroom?

We will supply the educational materials online ahead of time. Then during Bat Week tune in to this website to see the webcasts! We are asking teachers and group leaders to participate in some very short evaluation surveys so that we can learn what does and does not work! If you are willing to complete out a pre and post survey with your class, please let us know by contacting:
